Beautiful solid pine kitchen dresser/display cabinet in excellent condition.

This charming piece features a classic farmhouse design with a two-piece construction, making it easier to move and transport.

The upper section includes two glazed cupboard doors with decorative stained glass panels in green and textured glass, ideal for displaying crockery, glassware, or decorative items.

Open middle shelf provides extra display/storage space.

The lower section offers practical storage with two drawers and a double-door cupboard, perfect for kitchen essentials, linens, or dining accessories.

Finished with traditional hardware and lovely natural wood grain throughout.

This is at present unwaxed and all natural pine.

Would look stunning waxed or even painted and distressed.

A rare and striking piece of mercantile history

This large-scale Swedish bin counter features a classic curved" tambour-style" front with three independent sliding compartments.

Originally used in 19th or early 20th-century general stores, these units allowed shopkeepers to store and measure out bulk dry goods for customers.

Made from solid pine and finished in a period-correct cream-painted exterior that showcases a wonderful "shabby chic" aged patina and natural distressing.

The front is finished with unique diamond shaped decorative moulding providing a geometric contrast to the soft curves of the bins.

Features a deep, solid waxed pine countertop, making it highly versatile for use as a kitchen island ,sideboard, or shop display.

The compartments offer 6 big deep storage areas that could be used for numerous things. Originally used for items such as corn, wheat, flour, barley and cereals

Excellent vintage/antique condition. Displays authentic signs of its working life, including minor knocks, surface wear, and a beautifully crackled paint finish that enhances its character.

Ideal for a farmhouse kitchen, a rustic mudroom for shoe storage, or as a unique focal point in a commercial retail space.

A stunning large German pharmacy dresser just removed from a working pharmacy, crafted from solid pine with beautiful natural grain and a warm rustic finish.

This is a good big size with excellent storage and display.

4 door and 3 drawer base this has lovely carved decorations and reading up the corner posts.

Locking keys all sitting handsomely on turned feet.

The top section has 2 outer glazed sections with 8 space drawers. The middle larger glaze area sits inline with the wide drawer in the base.

Matching decorative uprights , carvings and shaped cornice.

These are made in Holland in the early 1990s and had been previously waxed.

The wax has been removed and is ready to be re-done, painted or left as it is unwaxed.

This industrial-style grey display cabinet featuring a glass-door top section and multiple storage drawers in the lower section is made from a mixture of reclaimed and old pine.

This is superb and has an aged patina paint effect. The whole unit is made around and old arch top glazed set of doors in a frame.

These are superb storage and and have a superb look in any home.

12 good size drawers with original cup handles, arch doors, original glass, shaped cornice and sitting very handsomely on turned feet this is definitely a talking piece in any home.

Its big and in one piece so good access would be required for delivery.

One of our joiners has made this beautiful one off handsome dresser.

This is painted in the ever popular Oval Room Blue with Ammonite interior.

The top on the base can be waxed or left natural and you can pick your own handles.

The glass for the doors is on order and will be fitted soon.

Looks stunning all painted in Farrow and Ball's Eating Room Red with Old White inside.

The handles and hinges are aged brass.

This will take a TV up to 1200 wide.

Ideal if you want to hide the TV behind the bifold doors.

This also has the contrasting oak waxed top on the base.

This has shaped cornice, step routered and shaped plinth, broken ogee moulding in the doors, cot bead frame and soft close drawer.

Shaker doors and a more plain version available.

This stunning computer dresser hides away your monitor behind the bifold doors and the keyboard and mouse on a pull out slide with a drop down front.

with shaped plinth, cot bead frame, shaped cornice and broken over moulding in the doors are all picked by the customer then finished with chrome hinges and handles.

Painted in India Yellow with contrasting Matchstick both by Farrow & Ball paints.

A shaker version is also available.

We love what we do

The restoration on every item is huge.

This box was bought in gloss paint and the restoration goes as follows....

1, We strip the box in an acid bath called caustic soda that removes all the paint.

The acid bath is hot so it gives a nice colour once stripped. A cold bath is no good and makes the pine go very grey.

The temperature is very important depending on the items paint, varnish or stain... Two hot and it cooks it and drawers would fall apart and twist the pine... Too cold and it won't remove the paint and go grey .. medium temperature is just perfect.

2, The item is then pressure washed to remove the acid and excess caustic.

3, Then all items are naturally air dried on breezy warm sunny days. This can't be rushed as if it is or dried using false heat from heaters the item will not shine once waxed and caustic white residue appears through the wax once it arrives in a centrally heated home.

4, All wood work is completed, reattach any beadings, plinths, piece a missing section from old pine or remake a bit of a drawer runner. This box needed no woodwork.

5, The item is then sanded in 120 or 150 grit sandpaper till nice and smooth.

The unit won't sand if it is not completely dry or the wood will not go smooth.

We don't over sand as this will remove the nice Victorian colour from the stripping.

6, Everything is then covered with lots white vinegar that naturalizes any remainder or caustic soda acid.

7, Air dried again after the white vinegar.

8, A light hand sand / pad off.

9, Then the items are ready for waxing.

This is done by hand using Briwax medium brown p7. Depending on the shade more coast can be added if required.

Not every item is a 5 minute job and can take a while to get the best restored Victorian pine items to sell.

We have over 70 boxes stripped and air drying and new ones getting finished each week. With chest of drawers, benches, linen presses and more always in a rotation of restoration we might just have the item you've always been looking for.
