We have this lovely old butchers block on its original pine base and low shelf.
The base has been sanded and is in its natural unwaxed state.
We could wax the base or even paint it but it does look nice as is.
The block is a good usable one and ideal to be used daily for baking, sandwich making and everyday use.
These are a good size to fill a corner or even in the centre of a kitchen.
