We are Pleased to offer this 1833 Swedish clock in its original painted ‘grained’ finish.
This style are known as Mora clocks and are extremely collectable with the sleek curvaceous body and design.
This tall slender shallow clock has the mechanism inside with weights and pendulum.
I presume this could work with some TLC.
This clock has got a key.
It’s more unusual, to find a Mora clock with a natural wood stain finish, like this example. ‘This gives them a different feel and allows them to fit perfectly into darker, more woody settings’
This has got some paint chipping and wear to its original finish but this adds lovely patina to its style and whether its a working clock or just decorative, its definitely a talking point.
