original Victorian dresser – later paint effect

This stunning Victorian pine housekeepers dresser is amazing with a fantastic finish and aged patina.
This dresser is correct for woodwork and has had a more recent paint job but obviously done a lot of years back to get such a good aged and worn effect.
Originally the rack might have been glazed. This is now painted chicken wire. They are fixed shelves in the rack.
The doors slide left to right and one has its original metal clasp that goes through the frame to add a padlock so the door can’t be slid open.
The base has three drawers, 4 cupboard doors with angled T&G detailing.
One door has some damage (see picture) but is solid and has been like this for many years.
The drawers have a matching set of old handles.
This is a fantastic looking piece and the finish is unrepeatable.
A stunning original dresser with later paint finish.
