restored Victorian pine chest of drawers
£425.00
A lovely Victorian pine chest of drawers with an unusual design, featuring extended side overhangs supported by the original Victorian metal brackets. A particularly nice detail that gives this piece a little extra character.
The chest had previously been painted in white gloss, but has now been carefully stripped back, hand sanded and finished in natural wax, bringing out the lovely warmth and grain of the original pine. All the necessary woodwork has also been completed, leaving it looking fresh while retaining its age and character.
A useful and attractive piece of Victorian furniture that would sit equally well in a bedroom, hallway or living space.
