This is lovely with its shaped feet giving good height and still retaining its original escutcheon and candle tray.
The box was in heavy gloss paint, so we have a process of restoring old pine and it goes like this, stripping, naturally air dried, sanded, woodwork restoration, white vinegar, air dry, light hand sand and then 2 coats of briwax original medium brown p7.
