‘Y’ frame church pew – old 19th century original patina
A lovely pine pew, salvaged from a local North Yorkshire Methodist Chapel.
It is an unusual style with reversed Y-frame ends and a straight back support.
The seat and ends are solid pine and with the unusual design means that you can slide onto the bench from the ends – making it perfect for use at a table or a narrow hallway.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy with a nice colour and patina and is still in its original varnish from the Methodist chapel.
