English Victorian Pine Housemaid’s Press – Fully Restored

A beautiful English Victorian pine housemaid’s press, fully restored and presented in a lovely warm, natural waxed finish that highlights the attractive grain, character and patina of the original pine.

The upper section features a pair of large panelled cupboard doors, opening to reveal a spacious interior with a central shelf and traditional side support rails, offering excellent storage for linen, clothing or household essentials.

More new pine shelves can be added if required.

The lower section is equally practical, incorporating two generously sized drawers with traditional turned wooden knobs, flanked by a pair of panelled cupboards. The whole piece is finished with a handsome moulded cornice, carefully detailed panelled doors and a shaped plinth with bracket-style feet, giving it the substantial proportions and timeless character associated with quality Victorian country furniture.

With its impressive presence, warm colouring and excellent storage capacity, this versatile piece would make a wonderful addition to a country house, farmhouse or period-inspired interior. Equally suitable for use as a linen press, bedroom wardrobe or statement storage cupboard.

Carefully restored and ready to grace its new home, this is a superb example of traditional English Victorian pine furniture.
