This dresser is in its original Folk Art paint finish and is dated 1849.
With 2 doors and a open workspace this is definitely a one off statement piece in any home.
The condition is superb for an item 174 yrs old and the hand painted detail is unrepeatable in this Baroque style.
Just stunning in browns, reds and a painted vase with flowers, it stands handsomely as a extremely rare item.
This has been recently saved from an old farmhouse in the Ore mountains, Ertsgebergte, this is against the Germany / Czech border.
